Before starting this guide, ensure you've completed steps 1-3 as detailed in BigCommerce

The following guide details how to modify the checkout type for specific channels when connecting Resolve with BigCommerce. If you intend to enable Resolve for all channels, and are using global settings in your storefront checkouts, then you can follow the same instructions detailed in BigCommerce.

Resolve's BigCommerce integration uses the existing Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method which will be visible on all channels. Like all other payment methods on BigCommerce, you will have to manage the visibility of the COD payment method to conditionally display Resolve at checkout.

Instructions

1. Navigate To a Channel

From the BigCommerce Control Panel, navigate to Channel Manager and select a storefront

2. Modify The Checkout Type

Once you've select a channel, select Checkout from the side panel and complete the following steps:

  1. Unselect use global from the top right of the window

  2. Select Custom Checkout under Checkout type

  3. Apply the following script to the Script URL

  4. Select "This checkout supports Optimized One-Page Checkout settings"

  5. Select "Use the same script URL for the custom order confirmation page"

  6. Save changes by selecting "Save"

3. Continue With Installation Steps

B2B Edition:

BigCommerce Standard:

After configuring the checkout changes, follow the steps detailed in the installation guide to enable Cash on Delivery (step d) and continue with the installation.
